TWINKLE
I'm feeling more Trinkly than Twinkly at the moment Cathy! Squirrels have the cute factor compared to dirty rats I suppose.
nectarine
I know squirrels are vermin, Mr. Nectarine used to shoot the grey squirrels when we were in the UK, but I still think of the red squirrels as endangered species (perhaps they're not in France) and so don't want to evict them if they're about to give birth. And, yes, they are so much cuter with their fluffy ears ......

La Guerriere
We have grey squirrels in our UK garden (we have a large hazel nut tree) but they have from time to time got into our loft and have chewed the electrics. They seem to be able to remove the insulation from lengths of cable without electrocuting themselves. Truly amazing.
