nectarine Posted November 28, 2009 Author Share Posted November 28, 2009 actually it was more than a stye, it was a chalazion which is sort of like a cyst. Anyway, more creams and drops and a visit to an opthalmologist to remove it if it doesn't clear up.Many thanks - he was impressed with my French except that I forgot the word for 'eyelid' and instead told him that I had an orgelet sur ma pappilon .... a stye on my butterfly!!!! bubbles Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 I had one of those (I think it was the same thing - like a white spot on the eyelid which grew quite big). I went to the doctor in Spain who said it wasn't harmful but wouldn't go of its own accord and i would have to have it operated on by an eye surgeon.Said i'd wait until I got back to France - not for three months.In the meantime, the head came off it, a little white stuff came out and then it disappeared.
