I would say something along the lines of "What sin can I possibly have committed.. (more literally, what have I done to heaven? but you'd never say that in English) to get me stuck permanently at the back of the queue? (lit. at the back of the back, but you wouldn't say that in English either.) But there may be a more obvious coloquial meaning which I have missed and which Clair et al will no doubt know!
