lynpy Posted August 29, 2006 Share Posted August 29, 2006 HiHas anyone got a foolproof cherry liqueur recipe goof for a complete beginner that they'd like to share?I have a freezer full of sour cherries and have decided I'd like to have a go at making liqueur. My previous neighbour used to make it, but he's not here for me to ask. I've searched the internet and have found a few recipes but they all differ so I'm not too sure which to try!Cheers! My neighbors brought me some of their homeade cherry liquer last Xmas and I loved it so much, had to have the recipe. Easy too.Cerises a L’eau-de-vie 150 g de sucre500 g de cerises bien fermes avec les queues40 cl d’eau-de-vie our d’alcool pour fruits10 cl d’eau Chauffez doucement le sucre et l’eau pour obtenis un sirop tres epais. Delayea-le avec un peu d’eau-de-vie pour ne pas qu’il epaississe trop en refroidissant. Lavez les cerises, essuyez-les bien. Coupez les queues a 2 cm. Piquez les fruits avec une aiguille a coudre. Repartissez-les dans les bocaux. Ajoutez le sucre, completez avec l’eau-de-vie. Fermez en mettant les joints de caoutchouc. Laissez macerer 2 jours. Completez alors les bocaux avec de l’eau-de-vie, si necessaire. Laissez macerer 2 mois avant de deguster. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
