Where is the French colonialist gourmet past?!*

Quite so Sweet, and thanks to everyone who posted potential places, It is sometimes exciting and pleasurable to discover a decent place to enjoy a particular cuisine, and not to have to wash up afterwards. My fear is always that you'll have a meal during this discovery phase that you are not excited by in a pleasurable way, fortunately this has only happened once to me and I made it back to the safety of my hotel room. I'm equally happy to pay return visits to places I have enjoyed. However one local resto has over the last year increased it's menu price 30% in line with popularity and that jolted me to consider what cuisine I'd like to pursue and the incentive to do so. Hence while I enjoy seeking out these places it does make sense to do a little research and follow recommendations if you can.
