Val_2 Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 Now is the time to stock up on meat especially chicken and pork products as the prices often double for the two holiday months, well they do around here with all the tourists descending for the month's visit. Last august, chicken fillets were selling for as much as €10,50 for six in our local Super U when normally you pay between €4 and €6 for the same. However we buy all our meat now at Lidl because the quality is very very good, most of it is locally sourced and its cheaper than the other shops.
