idun
So who would have a galette des rois other than a in January and often as a gouter with friends and family??? I must say I love it, but it had it's specific time each year.I make sunflower oil cake (recipe from a friend's spannish mother), but have never put wine in it, not sure about that, although I may give it a try next time I make one.Although, as I like cake in general, I like all the above, but it is all very everyday, nothing special. NormanH
Typical of the frequent errors that they should include a galette des rois as a dessert when as you say it is for the Fête des rois...Epiphany, , and it isn't a dessert really. If you want a laugh look at the section on '10 differences between French and British schools'
