Guerlain Fan
Hope somebody can help me with this. Back in the late 1980s, early 1990s, there was a comedy on British TV set in France about a couple moving there. Not sure if it was based in Honfleur. I have been trying to remember what it was called, but so far I have had no luck. Can anybody remember what it was? Thanks in advance.Barry

I posted my question, went into the kitchen to serve my chicken breast with black olives and sun dried tomatoes, and your reply was waiting for me. Russethouse
I had a soft spot for Anton Rodgers, he used to live in the Pangbourne area and one day he was in our local Waitrose, I was really under the weather and had my then toddler son with me, at the check out he could see I was struggling and packed all my shopping up for me - what a nice man [:)]
Judith
Yes, indeed - memory tells me he died not so long ago. Shame, I think he was a very underrated actor, good at both comedy and drama - memories of Dickens serialistaton come to mind from ages ago.
