Railway Sleepers

I’m looking for some railway sleepers (quite a few).  Does anybody know:

a) what they are called in French

b) the sort of places one can get hold of them

c) if anybody has got any, what sort of price they are.

Its actually to build sides to a stream and I figured that

old railway sleepers will probably be cheaper than stone.

You can make some nice steps for the ragondins Ian, with "traverses de chemin de fer"  :
