Kong
Thanks for that, it's what I expected. What do they hope to gain from it - time wasting?Kong

Kong
Can't see how they could do it unless I was particularly daft and sent sent them all my bank details......
Pierre ZFP
Doesn't matter if they have all your bank details, after all, that's how you make a virement no?The usual scam goes along the lines of making a booking then sending you a huge deposit or full amont, then 'something comes up' and he has to cancel and could you return the money. Strangly, the original transfer from him fails for some reason (surprise, surprise) and the bank cancels it, you meantime have sent a wedge of money to him and can only wave goodbye. Good spot by the way, I don't know how you always sort out the genuine bookings from the fake!Editted 'cos can't type for toffee today
Bobdude
One quick and easy check you can do is copy and paste their e-mail address into Google search - that often throws up scams from the same e-mail address.
