Gardian
Forgive me for being blunt, but shouldn't you be asking professional removal companies?None of us on here can give you anything but a guess from previous experience.
idun
Loads of companies who do this, and their prices do vary, so you will just have to ask several.
andyh4
I agree totally with the 2 posts above, but would advise the OP to work out the volume of the goods to be moved (not the area) as this is what transporters will use to provide a quote. idun
Just a thought, you are moving from England and doing this bit is easy peasy. But if this is a strain to you, how are you going to cope with France and things french, certainement in french. Just wondering?

If you underestimate, they could charge you right over the odds on Moving Day as they then play on your not wishing to leave anything behind. Best to get a proper quote, one that genuinely reflects what you need to have transported. What I found really difficult was estimating the volume. In the end, we had to pile everything up and measure the pile and then add a bit extra. We then imagined everything being put into a room of which we knew the dimensions (and therefore the volume) and, as Idun has pointed out, that was only the "fun" bit; the rest was to come!
