toni
[<:o)] Does anyone have a suitable 'form of words' to put into a warning notice to be placed at entrance to a private pool warning people of their responsibilities with regard to pool use- replacing cover, supervision of kids etc ? LesLauriers
I thought that under the new regulations, you are the person responsible, and whilst a sign may be of some help and may even give you a warm feeling, it will not absolve you of your responsibility. I would also think that a compliant fence would be better than a cover which is a pain to put on every time your guests want to nip back inside for a drink.Good question, it will be interesting to see other posters thoughts on it. Lori
When we rented (we don't any more), we had a one page list of poolrules. I got them from a web site that gave examples of PoolRules at hotels, etc. I thought they were excellent, but I knewthey would never absolve me from any responsibility if there was anaccident. It just made the renters aware that they need to becareful in and around the pool. The rules never covered the pool security device. That always remained working and my responsibility. Not sure if that helps. But if you do a search on pool rules, youwill probably get a slew of examples so that you can put together theone that suits you the best. I think it would be, like is was forus, a peace of mind thing.
