Anton Redman
What Internet recommendations would you make for somebody who needs to down load and study high resolution CT scans sourced from US and Australasia. Intent is to have a four-month holiday in Europe but requirement is for reliable access to the Internet at broadband speeds. Location is between Bergerac and Perigeaux and is believed to have broadband available. In any event the house is close to the Dordogne River All advice and recommendations gratefully received. Not sure how the river itself helps but the railway and a relatively crowded area seem to help if you want broadband.

Which talks aboutthe maga high-speed fibreoptic link coming down the Limousin? I've hada look for the mag (and searched my bookmarks for the site with theattendant maps) but can't put my hand to it just this moment. Howeverit promises us the earth (pas a pas) by 2008. I suppose if you live inLimoges or Gueret then autumn this year is your target date. Me? 2008(fin de). comme d'habitude.p

Tony F Dordogne
We live very close to the Dordogne River, close to St Cyprien in a very small commune which does have broadband. However, the other side of the river doesn't have it and apparently, isn't going to have it for some months.
