I have had a dial up account with 9online for over a year without problems but for the last few days, I have been unable to log on with an error message which implies that either my password is wrong or my provider is not  working.

Does anyone else have the same problem or am I imagining it?

Thanx for your message which eliminated at least one probability. after much tweaking, I found what the problem was. A second PC which was networked had just had it's hard disk cleared and formatted and reloaded with XP Pro. Forgot to undo the network cable and XP seems to have corrupted my dial up settings via the network cable. Now unplugged, reinstated my dial up parameters with 'inetwiz' and everything no working fine.
