Katie
After using my ADSL internet connection Orange with LiveBox happily for about a month, suddenly I can't get into my Espace Client. It does not recognise the mot de passe de messagerie which I have always used. Admitedly, I am now in England, and had been accessing it in France, but that shouldn't make any difference, should it? The Orange webpage is exactly the same. I have sent a help message by internet to the "commercial" helpline, but have received no reply. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.Katie
Ron Avery
On the orange.fr page you have "messagerie", click that it goes to "identify yourself" click that and put in your Email address and your password and you will get access to your Emails. Katie
Thank you for your reply, Ron, but my point was that that was precisely what I had been doing, and it had worked, and now it doesn't. I get a meesage that it's either the wrong "identifiant" or wrong "mot de passe". And when I input my email address for them to remind me of my details, it doesn't recognise the email address. Help!Incidentally, who wrote: "Why not post a sensible answer, people will appreciate it more"?
Ron Avery
Incidentally, who wrote: "Why not post a sensible answer, people will appreciate it more"?I did , why do you ask ? Are you actually putting in your email address or using the drop down one? If you are doing it "right" the problem could be at the orange endMaybe a coincidence, but my E mail has been playing up for days, it wants passwords, cannot find server, etc, so maybe its not your log-in after all. Try again now it seems to be working ok, but perhaps before you do that shut down your PC and reboot to lose any old connections and retype your Email address. Katie
It's got even worse: when I clicked on "mot de passe oublié?", it no longer asked me for my email address, but informed me that my password is printed on the welcome letter, and that if I've changed it or forgotten it, I should phone 3900 or 3901. But I'm in England! So I don't know what to do. Any ideas?
Rose (& Greyman)
I had this and couldn't understand why it wouldn't work. I eventually sussed that I was stupidly entering my connection password rather than my messagerie password. I'm sure that won't apply to you but maybe worth checking ? Katie
Thanks, Mr Greyman. But I've tried both the messagerie and the connection passwords, to no avail. Any other ideas? It's really annoying - no Internet for over a week. And one continues to pay the subscription. What makes it more complicated is that I am in England. It's my partner who's suffering from lack of Internet, in France. Trouble is, his French is minimal, so I have to try and find out what's wrong.
