Salty Sam Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 Having used both the B2100 and other models in the Sonim range (Sonim manufacture the JCB range), all I can say is they are both budget phones designed to stand up to hard use and abuse, while being able to perform the basic tasks of making and receiving calls.Both have excellent speakers which allow for use in noisy environments. The JCB screen is better protected than the Samsung which is more susceptible to damage though to be honest, my Samsung stood the test of time and a fair degree of misuse.Personally, I'd go for the Samsung as although being a basic phone, it does have some additional features over the JCB, but I'm also rather biased in favour of Samsung products;-).
