She is very sweet, but rather shy, though the people who take care of the dogs say she is all right once she has confidence in you. She's probably rather frightened to be there, so it would be wonderful if someone could get her out and offer her the security of a loving home.The vet thinks she's about four years old. Llwyncelyn Posted April 10, 2007 Share Posted April 10, 2007 Dear Christine as you probably know I have owned Bassets for well over thirty years and the latest recruit one Jean Claude and who comes from impeccable breeding lines in the UK is now getting on somewhat.He is twelve but I have owned Bassets as in Mrs Minerva and Ben who reached sixteen and seventeen years of age.I am not sure what my wife would have said but I think (and it is easy for me to say as such that I do know) but I think I would have been in my car and down the motorway. best wishes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
