Christine Animal Posted June 28, 2007 Share Posted June 28, 2007 If anyone would like to visit this marvellous refuge in Charente Maritime, please don't miss the Open Day of Refuge Fontorbe, Saint Jean d'Angely, Charente Maritime on Sunday 1st July from 10 am to 7 pm.They have some lovely dogs for adoption and some of the older ones come with 600 euro towards vet's fees (I think this may be help from 30 Millions d'Amis to give the older dogs a chance to find a family).This is one of the nicest refuges I know, they are helping rescue the dogs from Niort and they never put any down. They will be very pleased to receive visits from "nos amis anglais". Pushkin from this forum has recently adopted Coffee, now Poppy, from Fontorbe after they rescued her from Niort.Here are a couple waiting for a loving home, others can be seen on their new site Refuge Fontorbe BROWN est un croisé labrador bicolore de 4 ans.
