Christine Animal Posted February 9, 2010 Share Posted February 9, 2010 I don't know if you saw this rescue of a German Shepherd from the river in Vernon on 22nd January. Apparently fifty firefighters came on the scene, then one was lowered from a helicopter to get him out. The way he tackled that dog, panic stricken by the helicopters, is amazing.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAN4DGO4JLo&feature=relatedI have tryed to watch the different versions to see if he attaches the dog to himself, but it finally looks as if he just got hold of his collar and body. The way that man "flies" sideways and then lands in the same position, putting the dog's feet on the ground first is quite something.
