woolybanana (ex tag)
Saw the vet today. She smiled wanly and muttered that we didn't want things simple did we. These parrots have caused fone calls to Paris and various other nightmares. I love it. But the bird flu is a big problem these days and noone seems sure how to react. Framboise
I actually knew a lady once who had a pet mynah bird. He was her "baby".She got married and therefore inherited a mother-in-law who was, to put it mildly, an old dragon. The bird used to gabble away to himself about nothing in particular until one day the mother-in-law marches into the living room and the bird shouts out as clear as a bell "Oh no! It's that old bag again......."Er, what can you say about that then? Husband burst out laughing, M.i.L had a face like stone and my friend insisted he must have heard it on the telly. It was delivered with perfect comic timing. In future you had to mind your P's and Q's around the bird because he then discovered he could get a reaction from this type of thing and kept on with it, to embarrassing effect [:D]. woolybanana (ex tag)
Christine, I think this is why my vet went a little pale as Paris had originally done so too. And this does not even include bird flu provisions. But it does provide a clear way forward which I hope that what is it jugadarone can use. But he is 'merican and in my experience they do get things done.
