andyh4 Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 The dog must be chipped and have a pet passport. He must then have a rabies injection.21 days later you can travel to France. You can also return with him to the UK any time after 1.1.2012. If he is not already rabies treated and blood tested, you have no opportunity to return before that date. If he is already rabies vaccinated and has a postive rabies antibody blood test, and if his rabies vaccinations in his pet passport have been kept fully up to date and repeat injections have always been before the expiry date of the previous one, then you can bring him back earlier than 1.1.12.
