Gyn_Paul
OK, so with my newly-plated Cleo and Jumper I'm feeling dead smug. It also means I can drive into town without worrying about an encounter with the flicks. However, while droping off to sleep the other night (No, I was in bed, not behind the wheel) it occured to me that the CT documents have UK-numberplates on them. Has anyone been pulled up about this?Is it worth going back to my nice CT chap and asking him to reprint it, or will he sting me for another fee?p
Anton Redman
When you register in France the carte gris will include the former registration number. I think it happens because if you move to another Department in France you also have to reregister. Fun bit happens when you you have a C.T. with UK reg , register in France then move Department as the C.G. only shows one previous number. C.T. also shows chassis number anyway. Sunday Driver
As per Anton, the VIN number matches the CT to the vehicle. There is no longer a requirement to have an additional sticker put on the carte grise.
