More2Learn
Can anyone help.I am sure I saw a link to a copy of the above form to be completed in an accident by both parties somewhere on the forum in English. I have tried to search for it and it doesn't seem to find the post.Has anyone got a link to a copy I can download and print off.I have insurance in France and just getting better half mobile so thought it good idea if we both carry a copy of the English one too.More2Learn
Sunday Driver
Yahoo search came up with a list of around a million hits - the first one has a link to this downloadable copy. It's in French but it's easy to understand and complete.
Cat
I think this is what you're looking for http://www.insurance.fr/responsible.htm
Cassis
It's a good idea to complete in advance as many as possible of the details on the form to save time and give you one less thing to think about should the worst happen.
More2Learn
Thanks to everyone for such a rapid response. The English help form is such a boon.I whole heartedly take onboard the advice that filling it in with various details in advance is a great idea, wish I'd thought of that one first. Thanks again.More2Learn. Cassis
The insurance.fr site is either dead or currently down, TW. The most recent archive copy of the pages on web.archive.org dates back to April 2006 and has problems loading.
Cassis
Just had a thought - have you not got one from your previous UK insurer, if you once had UK insurance? The European Accident Form layout is universal, I believe, regardless of language. These guys will flog you a copy for about a euro: http://www.skovgaard.org/skovgaard-europe/euraccix.htm
Lori
Very helpful to have it in both languages. I printed off the entire 7 pages. I really appreciate the "How to fill out this form" number by number, in English. Will now place it in a folder and put it in the car.Thanks. allanb
The European Accident Form layout is universal, I believe, regardless of language.
Yes. This is actually confirmed in the small print, which points out that anyone who doesn't speak French can confidently fill in the form and sign it on the basis of a different-language version.Of course, the small print is in French. But the idea is good.
