James
Hello, We have insured our car fully comp with a french insurer (AGF). We insured it in the main drivers name who owns the car and asked about a second named driver, being my grandmother and the insurance agent said anyone can drive the car and is insured so long as they have the owners permission and been driving for 3 years. Has anyone else had this? Is this normal? Many thanks James.

Sunday Driver
A driver with a licence less than three years is classed as inexperienced and the excess is increased. Age is immaterial.
James
Hi,Thanks for confirming that it is normal. The agent said the excess would be 299 euros should we claim or another driver claimed. Many thanks James.
