Advanced driver training

Does anyone know of a French equivalent of the UK Institute of Advanced Motorists?  I can't find anything in the yellow pages.

I'm talking about ordinary cars, by the way, not public-service vehicles or HGVs.

I've written to the IAM to ask if they know, but they didn't reply.

Don't know if these are quite what you're looking for Allan:

The only thing I have come across of a similar nature is a scheme run by Groupama called "Centaur".  Completion of the course gives a right to a reduction in insurance with them.  From what I've seen of some of the results[:)] it isn't really IAM stuff but you could look at it for interest's sake.

If you Google "Groupama Centaure" it gives the location of centres throughout France.

As I said probably not IAM standard.
