allanb
Does anyone know of a French equivalent of the UK Institute of Advanced Motorists? I can't find anything in the yellow pages.I'm talking about ordinary cars, by the way, not public-service vehicles or HGVs.I've written to the IAM to ask if they know, but they didn't reply. Weegie
Don't know if these are quite what you're looking for Allan:http://www.3acompetition.org/http://stages-pilotages.allsportauto.com/questions-reponses-stage-pilotage.phphttp://www.stagedepilotage-prestige.com/stageporsche.htmhttp://www.pilotage.info/
allanb
Thanks, but those seem to be designed for offroad or competition driving.I'll keep searching!
Weegie
The only thing I have come across of a similar nature is a scheme run by Groupama called "Centaur". Completion of the course gives a right to a reduction in insurance with them. From what I've seen of some of the results[:)] it isn't really IAM stuff but you could look at it for interest's sake.http://www.groupama-ra.fr/site/ass/auto/centaure.htmIf you Google "Groupama Centaure" it gives the location of centres throughout France. As I said probably not IAM standard.
