jen Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 We have received our doofa for the peages, but today received invoice from them for the 30 euros deposit, which I understood we would have to pay but there is also another item for 4.18 euro 'frais de ports', not sure what this is for - anyone enlighten me on that. Gardengirl Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 If anyone wanting one of these from ASF lives near a Nordauto shop, we got ours from them with no deposit to pay. We took along our passports, proof of address and bank details and took it home with us; no 30 euro deposit or P & P.It not only works throughout the country, but also in Vinci car parks - no trying to find change for the machine!Jo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

PaulT Posted August 18, 2009 Share Posted August 18, 2009 If you go for a doofer from ALIS then there is no deposit and no additional charge for the months in which you use it - just the toll charges taken from the bank account during the month after you have used it.PaulPS it was fabulous coming back a couple of Sundays back - long queues at the pay booths and we just sailed through the T lane.
