just john Posted May 1, 2011 Share Posted May 1, 2011 While researching (surfing the web, got to do something to get away from the endless wedding apart from sewing up my vandalised convertible softtop) which two-stroke oil I should use (just Stihl or is any brand ok?).I came across this article, adding-2-stroke-oil-to-diesel-tank-read-this that it is beneficial to add two stroke oil to a tank of diesel for improved engine performance?Should we? is anyone practising this? Théière Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 As the diesel in France has 5% bio diesel in it already and that is a much greater ratio than 200-300:1 that the forum suggested why bother.Considering the galactic mileage that many of the current diesels achieve I wouldn't worry too much apart from the fact a lot of those posts came from Essex people and that says it all [:)] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
