Mayennaise
We have a set of three quarter length glazed double doors that lead from the kitchen to the terrace. They have a sort of catch thingy (?) that shoots out from the bottom and the top when door handle is pushed upwards - so locking the door before the key is then used. My question is - what are they called. We need a new one as the old one is falling apart. We thought we could just put in a new lock but existing lock is an integral part of the whole thing. The catchy things (?) are attached to a strip of metal that runs the whole length of the door. We have searched all the local brico sheds and can't find any. Here's hoping some can help thanks
Dick Smith
Do you mean the exterior half-round bar which runs vertically up and down from the handle? I've been looking for one of those for ages. The Ironmongery site is very useful, though, thanks for that. Some very nice fancy bolts that I've a use for! Wozza
Brico depot sell them - they are on page 418 of April 2006 catalogue. I would say look at their website, but it only shows store locations, not products. They have three types - €89, €181 and €349.Warren

Mayennaise
They are flat and are flush with the edge of the door. I will try to persuade MOH to take the pic and post it as I am useless at that sort of thing!
