Scooby
We need to replace our septic tank by July 2010 and wonder if anyone has any recommendations for 24 area? As an aside we would like to combine the work to install the new tank with the installation of a swimming pool as it seems stupid to dig the garden up twice. giantpanda
Hi!Is this one, after an inspection under the authority of the Mairie? If not it will also be done. You should ask the Mairie, if they contribute to the installation ( 0% to 100% is possible ).Yours, pomhorn
Scooby
We had the inspection by SPANC in July of this year when we were told officially (what we knew already!) that our septic doesn't conform and we were required to sign an undertaking to have it replaced within two years. The rest of the hamlet (bar one house) are going onto mains drains but apparently it would cost too much (per the Mairie) to take the mains as far as our house. I wasn't aware though that the Marie might contribute to a new septic tank.
