Power tools in hand luggage at UK airports?

Will UK airports currently allow me a couple of battery powered drills (without bits!) in my hand luggage? (Stansted in particular).

5 years ago Carcassonne would not allow my jigsaw even without a blade and I had to check it in..

Many thanks..

No chance these days. I suggest that you make up a parcel of up to 30Kg and send it via (eg) parcel2ship.co.uk for £23.25 (£16.79 for 10Kg). Others are available but I have used parcel2ship to France and had a good service.

Have you tried to comply with each financial organisation's interpretation of Money Laundering rules recently? Still the drug dealers and people trafficers carry on their merry way whilst the rest of us suffer.  [:@]
