tonyv
Does anyone here know the susceptibility of PER tubing to freezing? Does it burst like copper does, or is it sufficiently resilient to withstand the expansion of ice?
BIG MAC
John Guest stuff splits whereas the reinforced Hep2o seems a bit more resilient....(Look out as there's two types and only one is reinforced)They are both ugly though

Anton Redman II
Pryor to insulating the feeds to our Frigo American and third shower room which both pass through the Barn both froze with our damage to the pipes. I am pretty sure copper pipes would have split in similar circumstances. I think there is enough give in them to allow for the expansion without breaking.
