Manon
Do you clean the metal top of your stove and if so, what do you use and how do you do it please ?
Cendrillon
We have a lovely (retro|) woodburning stove (but not cooker) and the top has all sorts of fancy grooves / mouliding. I have found that a small scrubbing brush and soapy water works wonder. (plus the elbow grease of course)[;-)]
YCCMB
If you really cook on it, I wouldn't recommend this, but here's a link to a discussion we had some time ago:http://services.completefrance.com/forums/completefrance/cs/forums/2803541/ShowPost.aspx
Manon
Thanks Cendrillon but mine has the flat metal top which you cook on and it's this bit I'm not sure what to do with. I think there is a special cream and maybe you use a pad of fine wire wool but I'm not sure. Anyone else know what to do ?
Cendrillon
Just seen Acier Eclair in Super-U this looks as though it could be what you need.
Lehaut
Brought a rusty stove back to black with La Foyer Creme Polish, put on with a shoe brush. Mucky job and it stinks the room out when you light the fire!Brico Marché or Leclerc.
