grumps
Hello all,I'm plumbing another bathroom using PER.I don't need a lot of pipe and I've got enough red to do both the hot and cold runs to the basin and shower.(The WC connects directly to the manifold with flexi.)I've also got enough blue outer casing to replace the red casing on the cold runs ; thus making the visible colour coding correct - although everything will be hidden.(I can't see why but) is there any reason why I shouldn't do this ?ie. are the coefficients of expansion different for the red and blue ?I really don't want to purchase another roll for such a short run.Thanks,Mark. Théière
One for Chancer this, he is in love with PER at the moment, no point in asking a virgin like me
vette
I have done the same where the pipes are hidden due to needing about 3 feet and not wanting to buy a complete roll. There have been no ill effects and I reckon that the material is identical in type apart from the colour. Chancer
Both my couronnes of each colour carry the same markings for temperature and pressure ratings and the same CTSB number.
