  1. I can never decide between autumn or winter as favourite times of year, but autumn always seems like an old lady remembering her salad days and enjoying the season of mellow fruitfulness. in reality here it seems to herald a season of jam and chutney making and hoping I have enough dried fruit for Christmas Pufding, Cakes and mincemeat ?

  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hayley_Westenra Hardly a street singer...her talent was recognised pretty early...
  10. Dare I mention Gareth Malone ? I really enjoy the programs but since If I hit a note its a fluke and I suspect I am tone deaf it may not be much of a recommendation
  11. Genuine third party recommendations are welcome.....
  12. Excellent news.....and as Hoddy said, don't forget to take care of yourself too [:)]
  13.  A friend of mine was cured of Prostate cancer last year after an operation using 'Robbie the Robot' http://www.royalberkshire.nhs.uk/support_us/robbie_the_robot_appeal.aspx?theme=Patient and a course of radio therapy afterward. Using the robot apparently means less side effects and is less invasive.
