EHIC am I the first ?

The rules are changing from May 1st , for pensioners the UK  will provide the EHIC .

As I  am going away very soon I have the CEAM to cover me until the end of April.

Further to the above we have had a letter telling us to return our CEAM cards to the CPAM before the end of April along with proof that we are still in receipt of a UK pension. Regards Hester.

Thanks Hester we had the same letter yesterday (I have just fed it through the translator).

If my plane manages to get off the ground next week CPAM will have to wait for their cards. [Www]

Would it be simply because it allows them to be sure you are eligible either for the French EHIC card (without E121 &E106) or the English EHIC (E106 & E121). Nothing sinister ! I hope. MBK

Probably as there is also a box to be ticked if you are in receipt of a French pension. I have just sent another copy of my E121 as proof of UK pension. Hester.

Ooooooooooooops,  are those the green forms that have been lying somewhere on my desk for a couple of months or more for some health card or other?  Are they important?  Perhaps I should dig them out and fill them in.  As I remember, they at least are in English.
