Harnser Posted January 8, 2017 Share Posted January 8, 2017 If you need to use kerosene to fuel an old school diesel (one with a mechanical injection pump) you need to add a minimum of 2% by volume of ordinary engine oil or two stroke oil to the kerosene to lubricate the pump. Worth mentioning that running kerosene will result in about a 5% reduction in power - it's less dense. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
