NormanH
I am a great fan of Lapeyre for the quality and reasonable customer service (at least in our branch) but they aren't cheap.http://www.lapeyre.fr/resource/catalogues-prestimedia/cata-sdb/appli.htm?page=
KathyF
Some 8 years ago we got ours from Mr Bricolage and have been very pleased with them. The builder who laid them for us liked them so much that he bought the same for his own new house. They were some of the most expensive there, but not unreasonably so. Manon
We bought exactly what we wanted from Brico Depot very cheaply. One thing to bear in mind - if you need a large quantity ( we needed 120sq mtrs ) make sure they all come from the same pallet or if not , check tiles from the two pallets very carefully against each other as ours varied considerably and we had to take about 35 boxes back and get the guys to match them from the remaining pallets in stock. just john
I'm a leroymerlin fan, Tiles on deals, quality and range; if I have a gripe it is that very often it is not in stock, and must be sur commande,http://www.leroymerlin.fr/v3/p/hp/homepage-l1308216158?pageid=17&xtor=EPR-511535456

Théière
Just another thick American, (like their president) who thinks we would love to pay the high shipping charges.
Laurier
We looked just about everywhere and the prices varied dramatically. In the end we bought floor tiles from Brico Cash which were priced mid-range and seem good quality (so far, down 2 years). They were 9mm thick. We are very happy with them. We have bought 3 lots of wall tiles from Brico Depot which are excellent for the price. Also very happy with those. It really depends what you are prepared to spend. We had a big floor area to tile so were price driven for a reasonable quality.I second buying extra boxes to get the same batch, which Brico Depot will happily take back if unopened. We discovered with Brico Depot that if we had their Loyalty Card, we had 3 months to take anything surplus back which we have done with other things. idun
There is one thing for sure, there are lots and lots of places that sell floor tiles in France. You do not even mention what you are after, ceramic or vinyl.A carreleur friend always said to get the white backed ceramic tiles, and that they were less likely to crack/chip. If you don't know where your local places are, just look up pagesjaunes.fr and see where they are and go and look at them all.Everywhere has bargains from time to time and some places have better choices than others.
