Washy
Checking investments on the internet recently as we have just sold our UK house, I found La Poste web site very easy to understand, and they have a good variety of investment accounts for people of all ages and saving ability. Some of these accounts seem to behave rather like ISA's only they have guaranteed 4 - 4.50% interests. There are too many permutations to mention socheck out www.laposte.frI might, however go out of village to arrange anything like this, I opened my post office account locally and the records are still written on a little card kept in a box ! Needless to say I keep all my receipts!

In fact these are just your details that are kept as a copy in the branches to which the account is attached. The accounts themselves are handled by computers at the regional financial centre.
