Landix
Well I am a duffer at finance and I have a bit of an odd situation here, maybe someone out there knows something;I am 52, been self- employed for nearly 30 years, don't have a pension scheme, been in the French tax system 3 years. Will anyone give me anything once I stop working or do I have to work till I drop.By anyone I mean basic UK or French pension.
Nanceric
LAST EDITED ON 07-Aug-02 AT 03:54 PM (GMT)Go to http://www.dwp.gov.uk - Pensions & Retirement - scroll down and you'll find the bit about having lived/worked in the UK and now living/working abroad. You can send for a pension forecast from the UK: and your contributions from both countries will count towards your retirement pension.Hope this helps.Sue

Maggiemortimer
It's certainly working now, I've just checked! I can't believe that it only has 230 signatures so far, I'd expected there to be many more. Please sign, even if you usually fly you'll be helping a worthwhile campaign, and the option to take a car is always useful!Maggie53/06 - I've finally remembered to do this!
