Lindylou
Oh dear!,you need nerves of steel watching the euro v pound. I still havn't converted the money for our house purchase, but the time I,ve been watching it,s made a difference of 2,000 against us, that goes a long way towards removals. Can things like a terrorist attack realy make a change, as I said before, I know nothing of the financial world, any advice?, hang on in there, or change it now before more damage is done.Lindylou. Baz
Playing the money markets often leads to burnt fingers. Why not transfer half your funds now this is probably the best way to hedge your bets. If you look at the trend over the last 12 months a downward movement of the Euro may be about to happen.http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/fds/hi/business/market_data/currency/11/13/twelve_month.stmGood luckBaz

If any of us really knew the answer to this one we would be sunning ourselves on our multi million pound (euro) yacht somewhere! However, it is a fact that certain domestic and international factors can affect currencies. There have been various factors that have affected the dollar, no less increased problems within Iraq and the threat of a terrorism strike within the USA. It is the same for the UK. It is a question of how lasting any detrimental affect can be. Crystal ball stuff really!
Lindylou
Well, the deed is done, went down to the bank yesterday andhad the whole amount transferred, now I've got to stop watchingthe rates as this could drive you insane. Time now to worryabout all the other things that go with it, will I ever get tosit in that garden and think it was all worth it.Lindylou.
