Dc
I noticed a charge on my bank statement for 43Euros for my carte 4s card. I'm not sure what this card is for, I was given it from Banque CIO last year when I opened my account, it has the Visa sign on it but I only use it to withdraw money at the counter at my bank. Is this a charge for using it because I am sure I could write a cheque just as easy. Can anyone advise if I need it and also what sort of card I need for the hole in the wall. My banking knowledge is not very good and would appreciate any help.regardsdc
Drongo56
We have an annual charge with CA britline for using our card but it seems worth it to us . Ours is 34 euros a year.
Quillan
At Bank Populair we got a basic card free which worked in the supermarket and hole in the wall machines. It would not work on toll booths on the autoroute or outside France. The monthly spending limit was also very small. We have upgraded our cards so we can use them anywhere and they have a limit you can set with the bank, rather like a UK credit card. For this we pay 27 a year. I don't know if this is the same with all French banks.ChrisI only use the bank, I don't work for them.
