Glcpons
Hi We are just coming to the end of our first Credit Agricole cheque book. Can anyone let me know if new cheque books are automatically issued by french banks as they are in the UK, or do we have to specifically request them. Thanks Gail

Usually they don't post them unless you specifically ask them to and they charge. La Poste is an exception, they send them out automatically. Alan
We have an account with Credit Agricole, had used all the cheques then realised we had not had a new book. Went into the local branch and was told the first booked had to be requested through the branch and and further books would be sent to our address. We now get a letter to say that the book has been sent and if not received within 10 days to let them know. The went for the CIC .
