Gwenhwyfar
What's the cheapest way to transfer money from our UK Bank Account to one in France? Thanks
Monika
We have always used our High Street Bank who booked a rate of exchange for us over the phone with, I think, money brokers, if you are happy with the rate (today it should be at least 1.505) you have to give your decision within 20 Seconds. The cost of transferring it is not that high for 20'000 about 20.
Andy W
Although I'm fairly new to the funds transfer game, I have found HIFX to be extremely efficient with only a minimal time lapse between the request for transfer and credit to CA. Would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone.
Kaz2
Nationwide current accouunt charges no commission and no fee. You can withdraw up to 700Euro a day and receive commercial rate of exchange. we find it great for small transfers while we are in France.
Jc
We got a bank draft(in francs-a few years ago)in favour of the notaire from our local bank and were given commercial rates.
