Teamedup
I received a charges pamphlet from our local CA today. The first thing that actually shocked me was that there is a 2euro charge if I withdraw cash from the counter instead of the machine. As I run an association and we have no card, I will be very annoyed if we get charged for withdrawing cash.It also said that one could use a non CA cash machine up to four times a month and then the charge would be 90 cent per transaction. Department71
We have a current account plus a savings account with C.A but we have no card. we were once charged 3 euro to take cash out of our current account via the hole in wall machine in the bank.(they don't dish out money over the counter anymore) When we queried this with the bank we were told yes there is a charge for withdrawing cash out of your current account, but if you draw the cash out of the savings account it is free!! Guess what account we use to draw money out, plus we complained in writing to the bank and got the 3 euro refunded. Just an idea for anyone else Steve
LesLauriers
I've withdrawn cash several times over the counter in our very small office in our village (our branch is the larger office in the next village along), and I have not been charged for this service, and I've just looked through the statements just to check.BTW, as CA wanted to charge an extra €17 a year for me to have a card, my husband has the card and I have the chequebook - it works very well (for me anyway, he has trouble stopping me spending )
