La vieille
Has everyone read the latest newsletter from Britline in which they give details of a special offer from 1st Jan - 28th Feb?They will do a 0% commission if you transfer money in sterling and will do it at the commercial rate. I know my British bank only does commercial rate in excess of £25,000, so it could well be worth topping up the Britline account at this time. Ron Avery
Be interested to know what CA Britline mean by the "commercial rate" and no commission. I changed some money into Euros for a friend in the summer by paying it into my CA account, no commission fee was charged and the assistant told me the rate was €1.45 to the £ on the day, when I got the statement it had gone in at €1.
