Scalehill
I see my card from Credit Mutuel expires at the end of April. In the UK, by now I would have already been sent a replacement. Do I need to contact them to ask for a new one, or should I expect one to arrive soon ? ---------Roy
BJSLIV
It will be awaiting collection at your branch. Most French banks charge if you want cheque-books by post, and you have to sign for your new card anyway. My bank also watch while you sign the new card as well! pagnol
We are with credit mutuel and they usually send a letter saying the new cards are ready for collection from the branch. I usually fax them and ask for he cards to be sent, which they do and charge the postage to my account. They also require a signed receipt to be returned saying you have received the cards, which they enclose with the cards.Good luck!
Scalehill
Thanks everyone. I had a bit of struggle getting them to send a new cheque book out in the post, but I'll contact them about a new card and see what transpires. -------Roy
Scalehill
In the event, I didnlt have to bother. Received an unsolicited e-mail today, in English, from the Manager to tell me that the card was there. After a couple of exchanges he's keeping it there for me to collect. Nice one. ---------Roy
