People (usually situated in another country, not the UK or France) wanting to buy a house sight unseen, or wanting to meet up abroad somewhere to agree the sale. They usually have a terminally ill relative, or some other sob story as to why they can't leave their "home" country. A common factor is that they all go into far too much detail to be believable.They are not quite as common as the "you have won the microsoft lottery" scam, and nowhere near as common as the "my father hid 1 million pounds before being shot by the dictator, can you help me bank it" scam, but scams they are.
