This article seems to suggest that France is becoming a better place to work for foriegn executives working in France.

http://www.lowtax.net/lowtax/html/offon/france/fracoord.html

"In November, 2003, the French government introduced a package of tax incentives under which foreign executives working in France will no longer pay income tax on bonuses derived from working abroad, which some estimate can represent between 20% and 50% of a top executive's income.

Other measures will include the deductibility of pension and healthcare contributions paid in their country of origin from taxable income."

Does anyone have any more info about this / link to the actual details.

I am on a detachment contract and pay NI/Pension payments in the UK and taxes in France, and this may be good news if it means that I no longer need to decalre my private healthcare as income.
