Dakay
I have received a letter from the bank about the IFU. I have had this account in excess of 2 years now and this is the first I have received.Does anyone know what this actually is? I have received some interest from the account over the 2 years, but there is no mention of amounts of money in the account,or of interest paid, on the attached forms. I have a property in france, but do not live there....yet,and,as far as I am aware,I am not involved in the french tax system.....YET ! Is this a letter for information only, or do I have to get it to an accountant? Any info.gratefully received !!Dakay
Sunday Driver
The imprime fiscal unique is the French equivalent of the Inland Revenue tax declaration form. The bank has clearly introduced a system of reminding its customers that they need to fill the form in soon.
Teamedup
If you have been getting interest from your bank for 2 years they have been lapse in not sending you forms in the past. You need these to fill in your tax declaration. They used to arrive earlier in the year as the declarations des impots used to have to be done by sometimes in March.
